BEIJING, Nov. 18, 2009 -- Acorn International (NYSE:ATV) , Inc. (ATV) reported Tuesday third quarter net income attributable to Acorn of 2.65 million US dollars, compared to net loss attributable to Acorn of 10.78 million dollars last year.
Income per ADS was 0.09 dollar, compared to a loss per ADS of 0.38 dollar in the same period last year.
Net income from continuing operations was 2.5 million dollars compared to an 11.9 million dollars net loss for the third quarter of 2008.
Income per ADS from continuing operations was 0.09 dollars, compared to a loss per ADS from continuing operations of 0.42 dollars in the same period last year.
Non-GAAP income per ADS from continuing operations was 0.10 dollar, compared to a loss per ADS from continuing operations of 0.08 dollar in the same period last year.
Total net revenues grew 28.0 percent to 91.84 million dollars from 71.73 million dollars for the third quarter of 2008.
